EXPERIENCED AND IN-HOUSE
We are proud that we decorate apparel, including hats and accessories, all in our studio in downtown Ypsilanti, Michigan. We screen-print, embroider, cut and press, sublimate and make and apply patches and tackle twill as needed. We can help with artwork and digitize for embroidery too. If you can give us a vector file, an AI or EPS file, we can then easily work the project from there. Plus we have an outstanding lineup of suppliers who provide us with a wide range of apparel and other items to work with. AND, we love to interact with you, either in the studio or by text or email. Note that we are licensed with the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University for any internal project.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
I'm a University of Michigan graduate and I studied fashion at Eastern Michigan University. I initially worked in robotics at IBM and for Sankyo Seiki, a Japanese company. Robotics was then my entre into setting up Heikk's through my familiarity with the idea of automated embroidery machines, like little robots. I just got the "maker's bug"! And from there, I expanded my knowledge and tools, and experience every year making Heikk's a true studio for decorated apparel.
